Not too many things compare to the whole experience of picking out and chopping down a real xmas tree. That being said, the cost of doing just that on a Christmas Tree farm can be a little speedy these days so getting an artificial tree can be cost effective and a time saver as well if you aren't able to get out and get a real tree. This one has many decorative xmas light variations on it which are all adjustable on the attached console. I was pleasantly surprised that the base was metal and not plastic. You need absolutely zero tools for this assemble which is really nice. It all just unfolds easily and snaps together. Here's the description on the box.
