DIY Maytag Centennial Brand Clothing Dryer Installation Including Power ...

If you remember, take a picture of the existing dryer plug on the wall so you know which type of plug to purchase if you plan on replacing it. Make sure before you leave the store that you have an electrical cord in which to connect this with as every dryer I have ever purchased does NOT come with the electrical cord with it. I'm guessing this is likely because there are quite a few different versions of plugs in each house for various types of dryers. You install the cord on this you will also need a Phillips screwdriver. I used my cordless drill when I performed this operation. In my "DIY Maytag Centennial Brand Clothing Dryer Installation Including Power Cord [Maytag Dryer Installation Tutorial" video I take you step by step through the process of making it happen. While you are setting up your new dryer it may be a good time to clean out the lint in the dryer's vent duct. DIY How To Do Laundry During Quarantine | No Washer No Dryer

If you find yourself under lockdown circumstances for extended periods of time you will likely need to do laundry. To do laundry you will need to make the most of what you have. If you are lucky you will have a means to obtain hot water and hopefully some soap. If not, variations of these same principles in my "DIY How To Do Laundry During Quarantine | No Washer No Dryer" video can be used.

Here's a link to laundry soap from Amazon: https://amzn.to/3aaO5cr

How to install window screens on house windows

Step by step tutorial in the basics of installing a window screen. The side with the thin metal springy clips attached to it goes in first. The plastic tabs go inward as it makes it ever so slightly tougher to remove from the outside. The trick to getting all four corners inserted is to get three corners in first leaving one slightly out, then the fourth and final corner will barely slip in. In this example I put the right two corners in first because they had the metal spring tabs on them, followed by the upper left corner, then finally the bottom left corner.

Not sure if this is any good: https://amzn.to/34XDKNl

Troy Bilt 4 cycle 30cc Weed Wacker Unboxing Assembly and Use

For years the old lawn edgers "weed wackers" would run really good when you first purchased them and then once you let them sit for various periods of time between lawn mowing sessions, it would be hell getting them started. I've seen more weed wackers tossed across lawns in my time than homelite chainsaws. The older ones had 2 cycle motors and if you didn't have exactly the correct oil/gas mixture the weed wacker would either not start, smoke the whole place up, or the motor would bog down. I have experienced all of this first hand being starting at a young age watching my father fight these evil little machines and then also myself as I grew up mowing lawns for extra money and then of course my own.

Not only was the motor an issue on the older weed wackers but the line feed mechanism on the working of the contraption often wreaked havoc on the operator's emotion. I would venture to say that no matter what kind of weed wacker you owned back in the day, you probably had both the line feeder mechanism and/or the motor apart on it (except maybe a Stihl) before the first year of ownership was up. The older models made it pretty tough to change out the line or even replace it if it got stuck up inside the feeder mechanism causing much frustration and chewing up your clock.

The frustration caused by the old weed wackers could make a preacher swear. Ok maybe not out loud but inside. I've called these things every name in the book and have probably set the distance record for yards thrown.

Not only were the old motors an issue on the older weed wackers but the line feed mechanism on the working end of the contraption often wreaked havoc on the operator's emotions. I would venture to say that no matter what kind of weed wacker you owned back in the day, you probably had both the line feeder mechanism and/or the motor taken apart on it (except maybe a Stihl) before the first year of ownership was up. The older models made it pretty tough to change out the line or even replace it if it got stuck up inside the feeder mechanism causing much frustration and chewing up your clock. There was no youtube or internet readily available at your fingertips, you either had to figure it out or toss it.

I can't count how many times that I would wake up the next day with a very sore and stiff upper back and then at first wonder what I did to it the day before. Then it dawns on me. Oh that's right, I tried starting that damn weed wacker by pulling on the pull starter 2000 times over the course of the day yesterday. Then it lingers for the next couple days just for good measure.

It is my opinion that Troy Bilt has gone above and beyond the call of duty with their latest models and helped out us lawn warriors.

DIY How to Install iPhone XR Screen Protector-Basic Step by Step Tutorial

A good idea to protect your investment is to install a screen protector. Up above is a step by step tutorial on installing one. It's a good idea to install these before you install your iPhone case. One of the major keys to success in this task is to make sure your screen is completely clean. By clean, I mean really clean. The kit comes with a wipe and adhesive strips in order to accomplish this so at a minimum use those. If you fail to completely clean the screen it will show up once you apply the screen protector itself.
After completely cleaning the screen, it's now time to apply the screen protector. There is typically an alignment template that comes with the kit so place this on the phone if you have it. Remove the outer plastic from the screen protector without touching it or letting it touch anything. Place it (adhesive side down) on the phone. Press your index finger in the center and work out any air pocket from the center towards the edges until all are removed. Remove alignment template and you are all set.

Vintage Iron City Brand Sledge Hammer Refurb

Took this old "Iron City" sledge hammer rock buster head and carved the end of an old axe handle out that had been sitting on the wall for years and made it work. It took quite a bit of hand working the wood down and fitting the metal shim up to make it work but finally got a good solid fit. Fun project and the result was a useful tool to add to the collection. Was nice to see it all come back to life.

DIY Wet Saw for Cutting Glass and Ceramic Tile

These wet tile saws are the way to go. Once I started using one I never wanted to go back. They are pretty easy to use as well and also very clean. This tool is money well spent as it makes your life a hell of a lot easier when it comes to doing tile jobs. This video demo is on a specific brand however I have used many different kinds of wet tile saws (many of which were borrowed from friends) and loved all of them, especially after cutting tiles manually.

DIY Coffee Can Toilet Paper Alcohol Light/Stove

This project was a lot of fun.  We took some rubbing alcohol and soaked a toilet paper roll after putting it inside a coffee can. Instant source of heat for warmth, light, and cooking.
