This is a ten cup watering pitcher that filters water where you'll always have cleaner, pure tasting water on hand with this space saving filter pitcher in your fridge. The included, free water quality meter lets you test your water, so you never have to wonder about its quality. Once that meter gets to 006 it's time to change out the filter.

The company claims is a 5 stage water filtration system (cannister) and supposedly unlike many water filters & pitchers, Zero Water filters use 5 stages of filtration, to bring you cleaner, better tasting water. Instead of carbon filtering only. Not sure exactly what this means but they claim that their filters use Ion exchange technology to reduce contaminants.

The company's verbiage claims that the Zero Water brand filters filter water in 5 stages, are NSF certified to reduce lead and other heavy metals. Zero Water removes 99. 6% of total dissolved solids, 2x more than the leading brand (tested by independent lab). Not sure how much of this I believe but I guess I have to take their word for it.

This company boasts that their filters help in getting the lead out of your water. ZeroWater filters are the only pour-through filters NSF Certified to remove chromium & lead. Their pitchers, tumblers, & dispensers remove virtually all solids for the purest tasting water.

Zero water claims that you can get more out of your water by removing more impurities from your water with Zero Water unique, 5 stage filter system. with a variety of options (if you buy different models), you can have cleaner water anywhere, from pitchers, bottle filtration systems, or portable on-the-go cup filters.

DIY Instructions-How to Install an Automatic Ice Maker in Your Refrigera...

How to Install and Automatic Ice Maker. This installation was for a Frigidaire brand. IMEZC000 model. Automatic Ice Maker Installation kit. After unboxing the ice maker, you'll notice that there is an electrical connector that needs to be hooked up. Keep that in mind. The ice maker will need an on demand water supply so you'll need to run a water line to the fridge. Almost all models nowadays have a standard hook up in the back of the fridge for this. When I did this, I removed the thread protectors from the fridge connection and used teflon tape around the threads. Then I hooked up the hose, turned on the water and checked for leaks. In this video you'll notice my incoming water valve demonstrates some leaking while operating the valve. Once it's either in the fully open or fully closed position, the leak stops. I did end up replacing this valve just for the purposes of upgrading it and made another video on it as well. After the water connection at the fridge was satisfactorily checked for water leaks, I pushed the fridge back into it's spot. Now it's time to mount the ice maker. The electrical connections are uncovered inside the the freezer. There are some plastic screw hole protectors in the side of the freezer that need to be removed to allow for the mounting screws to be inserted. Then I inserted the mounting screws that come with the ice making kit. Don't screw them in all the way. Pull out your ice maker and plug the electrical connection into the receptacle in the freezer. Also there is a plastic ice slide that needs to be installed as shown in the video. After plugging in the electrical connection I hung the ice maker onto the mounting screws and then drove them in all the way to secure it to the side wall of the freezer. I then plugged the fridge back in had ice in no time flat. This ice maker installation was so easy.

Phillips Air Fryer-Frozen Hot Chicken Party Wings Super Quickly Prepared

Watch my amazing Phillips Air Fryer-Frozen Hot Chicken Party Wings Video. Quickly prepare wings more than ever before. This must-have appliance is an essential part of my kitchen now and I highly recommend it be part of yours. This comes in so handy when it's nasty outside and don't feel like grilling. It's great when I want the crispness of an fried or oven cooked chicken wing yet will have the speed of a microwave. For the meal prepared in this video I used some pre-seasoned wings. They were called wings of fire. I put them right into the air fryer frozen. I made sure that I didn't stack them but gave enough room around each one so they could cook properly. This contraption is so easy to use it's unbelievable. Just put the wings in, adjust your cooking temp setting,  and push the button. You will have fresh crispy party wings in record time. I use this for hamburgers, fries, veggies, pork chops, and many other things. For this particular dish, I ate these tasty treats with some homemade ranch dressing and a couple sticks of celery. I used some Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce on the side too.

The clean up at the end is so easy as well. There is a non stick surface under the removable cooking screen that makes for ease of food removal in no time flat.

Project Source Brand Overhead Ceiling Light Fixture Installation-Model#0...

As homeowners and handymen we are always faced with having to do upgrades. It's crucial that us DIY technicians know how to handle these kids of tasks. Whether your a Mr. or Ms. Fix it kind of person, if you don't want to pay someone to do these kinds of DIY home electrical jobs than watch my videos on it. This one was a simple light fixture change out. I want to stress a couple of safety items here. First be sure the power is off. Second, be sure the power is off. Third, don't stand on something unsafe such as a slippery chair or bucket to reach up and perform this task. Get a ladder, get a voltage detector, turn off the breaker, turn off the switch, check for current.

Now open your new Project Source light fixture box and lay out all your new parts in an organized fashion. Unscrew the old mounting bracket. There are times when you don't have to do this when you get lucky and the existing mounting bracket will fit your new installation. After unscrewing then pull your wires down a little, inspect them and make sure they are good to go for your new installation. Next step is to reinstall your new mounting bracket into the recess. The same place from which you pulled the old one out. It's helpful to pre thread your screws into the metal mounting bracket as you will be installing this into the overhead. This goes for the little green ground wire screw as well. Using wire nuts, wire your new fixture to the house wiring accordingly. It's sometimes useful to pre-bend your grounding wire in a "U" shape to facilitate it's wrapping around the green ground screw.

Install your mounting screws and slip the new light fixture on them and then tighten. After securing the base part of the light to the ceiling via the mounting screws, go ahead and install the light bulbs. Now the center threaded rod gets installed. Don't worry about which side of the threaded rod goes in first because it bottoms out in the base, meaning, you can only thread it in so far until it stops. Now install the glass portion of your light and thread on the plastic washer, metal, washer and securing nut. Snug it up with a wrench. Not too tight, just snug. Now you can place your decorative cap and decorative end nut on. Now you're all set.

DIY How to Unclog a Bathroom Sink in Singapore

As a home dweller the chance of you having a clogged up drain are pretty good. The odds of having a clogged up drain go up the more people in the house you have. Once you have a clogged up drain and have procrastinated unclogging it long enough, you''ll be faced with two choices, DIY or all a professional. My thought is try to unclog it yourself and if you have no luck then it's time to call the pros and fork out some $$$. Follow along with me while I go through the process of a DIY How to Unclog a Bathroom Sink in Singapore. There are many ways to do this with household items but in many cases my trusty old pair of hemostats will do the trick. If you don't have them there are a number of household items that will do. Some of those are: A Wire Hanger.
Baking Soda and Vinegar. Mix baking soda with vinegar in a measuring cup, a Wet & Dry shop vacuum, Boiling Water, Cleaning the pipe, or caustic soda.
Another method commonly used is to use a clean plunger to plunge on the sink. The plunger method, however, will not serve you very well if there is a bunch of hair trapped around the drain. This works better if it's some debris caught down farther in the pipe. If the hemostat method doesn't work well for you from topside then it's a good idea to take apart your P-trap area.

DIY Pallet Project: Shop Table From Pallets-Repurposed Wood Made Into Us...

In this DIY Pallet Project: Shop Table From Pallets "How to" video, I take you step by step through my process on using old pallet wood to create a shop table. For the Table top, the first step was to get all my slats separated, get the nails pulled out, and clean them all up. I cut them all to the same length and placed them on two longer aluminum clamps. Pipe clamps work well here too. Once I get them square, flat, and straight, then I took two perpendicular lengths of wood and drilled and screwed them up through the bottom to hold it all in place. I then drilled and screwed 4 equal legs on. I then cut a couple of blocks for extra reinforcement, drilled, and screwed those on as well in between the legs and the cross members on the underside of the pallet table surface. I custom made the metal angle iron brackets as well. I had some old metal bed rails laying around so I sectioned them up and drilled holes in them to facilitate screws and used them for reinforcing brackets. I used some repurposed lag bolts to secure these. I sanded the top surface of the table so it was nice and smooth and flat. I decided that I needed a shelf down below for extra storage so I hit up my pallet pile again. I pulled off some more slats carefully so as not to crack or break the boards in the process. I got the nails all pulled out and cut to length on the table saw. I used some of these for the trim around the top of the table so it had a nice finish. I then created the second shelf down below using more pieces from the pallet pile and nailed them together with a brad nailer.

DIY Pallet Shoe Rack Organizer

This video provides Step by step instructions on how I made a DIY Pallet Shoe Rack that lasted for years for FREE!

After hand selecting which pallet I wanted to use I gathered up the necessary few tools I thought I would need. I didn't want the shoe rack to be too high so I but the pallet right in half with my hand saw. I also needed it to be limited to a certain width based on where I wanted to install it so I cut 1/3 of it off, widthwise with a skilsaw. Although I switched to a power tool here, you could do it all with a handsaw.

I then took my crowbar and hammer and removed the lower board. This gives me a top row for shoes and then a bottom row as well. I blew it all down with my air compressor to remove the saw dust.I then secured it to the wall with a couple of screws. Quick, easy, and free shoe rack organizer. You can paint it or have one of you kids paint it too for for an added custom touch.

How to install window screens on house windows

Step by step tutorial in the basics of installing a window screen. The side with the thin metal springy clips attached to it goes in first. The plastic tabs go inward as it makes it ever so slightly tougher to remove from the outside. The trick to getting all four corners inserted is to get three corners in first leaving one slightly out, then the fourth and final corner will barely slip in. In this example I put the right two corners in first because they had the metal spring tabs on them, followed by the upper left corner, then finally the bottom left corner.

Not sure if this is any good: https://amzn.to/34XDKNl

How to Unclog a Bathroom Sink and How to Remove Sink Drain Stopper

n this video I discuss and demonstrate a method of unclogging your backed up bathroom sink. I start with the least invasive and try to unclog the bathroom sink by using a pair of hemostats to fish out any debris around the drain as this is sometimes the only fix you need to do. This was not the case in this instance of this plugged up drain. The sink stopper needed to come out. This means the up and down mechanism must me disassembled. This is done by going underneath the sink and unthreading the fitting that secures the up and down joint. Once unthreaded it can be pulled out. Now there is a hole in the pipe so if you run your water anymore it will run out the hole all over the place. Now you can remove the stopper from up above. In this instance there was some debris down inside the drain that needed to fished out. After removing all the debris that was reachable I reassembled the parts. The sink was still not unclogged though so I had to disassemble again. I decided to give it the water pressure treatment with the garden hose as I've had many successes in the past using this same method. Once I flushed whatever was plugging it down the drain with the hose pressure, I reassembled all the parts. What you want is a whirlpool or eddy look of the water as it goes down the drain. If it bubbles or gurgles a bit then it means something is impeding the water flow and it's still plugged.

GMC Sierra DIY Drive Shaft Removal Procedure

GMC Sierra DIY Drive Shaft Removal Procedure. This whole video was made due to my truck being stuck in gear. Tried everything to get it unstuck but nothing worked. Had to get it out of the way so it was necessary to remove the drive shaft and pull it out of the way.
If this happens to you or you need to disconnect your drive shaft for other reasons, then this video is for you. It's actually very easy and can be done with simple hand tools.

The first thing I did was jack up the track and place jack stands under it so I didn't get crushed.

Secondly, I disconnected it at the rear differential joint. This was easily removed by loosening the 4 bolts shown using a 7/16" socket.
Before completely removing them I made sure to tie up the drive shaft so it didn't smack me in the face. I used a flathead screwdriver to pop off the little clips around the universal joint and the retaining rings. Once these are removed the drive shaft comes right out.

Pretty simple. I did end up buying a new universal joint as the old one was a little rusty. It was fairly inexpensive at auto zone.

DIY Install & Unbox Dummy Home Security Camera -Wali Electric Brand

Wali electric brand dummy security cameras ordered off of amazon. This step by step tutorial takes you through unboxing and simple installation. These dummy security cameras look real and can assist you in your home security plan acting as a deterrent for potential thieves. These professional looking dummy security cameras can be installed in less than 5 minutes. Its a good idea to install them in a manner that is high enough so they are out of reach. The AA batteries that they require to make the red blinking LED keep blinking are not included with each assembly and must be purchased by you separately. You will need an electric or cordless drill to secure it to the wall as well as three screws. I used some 1.5” drywall screws. Overall these dummy cameras alone won’t necessarily deter all potential thieves however when used in conjunction with bright motion detector lights, secure windows and security doors they can be an integral part of maybe making the thieves think about picking an easier location.

How to DIY Fence Post Replacement Repair 4 X 4 X 8 Cedar Treated

Sometimes you may have to replace one of your fence posts that are in line with your fence run. This can pose a little bit of a problem if the post was cemented in the ground. You'll need to remove this on order to start with a fresh hole in the ground to place the new treated 4 X 4 post. I recommend digging the existing cement post cement "block" in the ground as much as possible then pull it out using mechanical means. I decided to use a truck and chain to pull it out. This can be very dangerous so use extreme caution if choosing to do this. If you dig it out enough so that it wiggles and rocks a little so you know it's loose, then it's safe to say it's ready to be yanked out.

How to Install an Automatic Ice Maker

This was a really easy installation. Anyone can do this. This installation assumes a water line has already been run. So you must shut off and  connect the water line as shown in the video to the connection on the bottom of the refrigerator in the back using teflon tape for the connection to prevent leakage. Create room in the freezer for your ice maker then pop the plastic cap over the wire connection. Remove the caps inside the freezer for mounting the ice maker. Screw in the mounting screws to the designated holes. Connect the wire connection from the ice maker to the freezer. Hang the ice maker on the mounting screws then finish screwing them all the way in securing the ice maker. Don't screw them in too hard b/c the plastic could break but just tight enough to keep it snug. Plug fridge back in and turn on the water. Works like a charm.

Vintage Iron City Brand Sledge Hammer Refurb

Took this old "Iron City" sledge hammer rock buster head and carved the end of an old axe handle out that had been sitting on the wall for years and made it work. It took quite a bit of hand working the wood down and fitting the metal shim up to make it work but finally got a good solid fit. Fun project and the result was a useful tool to add to the collection. Was nice to see it all come back to life.

Why I can't stand IKEA

They got me. Along with millions of others. I'm no longer unique. No longer a hold out. No longer a spectator. I'm just like the rest. I ran right off the cliff with the rest of the herd. I suppose I would call it jealously more than anything. I'm guess I'm somewhat envious of Mr. IKEA who has figured out a way to repeatedly and painfully victimize me into wasting my precious Saturday mornings and hard earned money on obtaining new items in a profound fashion.
Once being bribed and convinced of the need to uproot myself from a once pleasant weekend morning, the journey starts way too early with a couple of pushes on the i(kea)-phone in order to take a taxi (via Grab app) to the IKEA penitentiary.
Let the root canal begin.
Once arriving at the ant colony, I'm forced by the crowd down a narrow habit trail as the entrance slowly fades away behind me. This is about the time the equivalent to water boarding begins.  My senses become overwhelmed at the various lights, signs, products, chatter, etc. Blood pressure increases and breathing becomes laborious as I watch my fellow prisoners, who appear to be oddly enjoying this experience, load up their wheeled loot holders. The following hour or two is just a blur and it all runs together like bad water color painting.
I now prepare myself for the displeasure of temporarily being held hostage for a few hours by mood altering display nooks littered with unavoidable reduced pricing signs that have a Pavlovian effect on a certain gender of shopper. The slow motion action of one by one removing dollar bills from my wallet starts to play over and over in my head as I start to grow weary, sauntering down the path of least resistance.
Naturally all of this activity makes you hungry. Mr. IKEA does not want hungry prisoners so he has constructed a way to extract more money from each unsuspecting inmate. After finding a temporary place to store your gatherings you must divide and conquer. One of you must go secure and eating location while the other waits in a long line for a 1/2 hour minimum to obtain the food. If you do not time this right you may find yourself with nowhere to eat as the other prisoners do not care to part with thier places at the tables. Seasoned inmates know the routine. The ratio of food sold vs. places to sit are highly offset. Mr. IKEA does not care if you have to stand and eat so as long as you get enough calories in to finish the march of shame up to the check out line.
The post-meal second round of pain begins. I start to sweat as I'm lead back into general population. It's an apprehensive aggravation type of sweat. After all, I'm spending MY time and MY money as the painfully obvious becomes inevitable. My shopping cart is getting fuller the farther I wade into the abyss of consumables. At this point I'm seemingly unable to escape this insanity. This explains why there are no windows from which to make a freedom leap.
As I continue to serve out my sentence for hours while being inundated by "on sale" signs and dimmed lighting displays that tap into one's emotional side, I now start to sympathize with my captor. It is now that I get the pleasure of waiting in a long line to exchange my hard earned cash for items in my cart.
I take a sigh of relief as I feel like the finish line is within reach. The light at the end of the tunnel is growing larger.
In hindsight, I wish my future self could time travel back to my current self, tap me on the shoulder and say, "Go to Starbucks instead", or "say you have to work", or "pretend your wallet was stolen yesterday", then miraculously find it Monday morning, or fake an injury.
After waiting in what seems to be the 10th line of the day, an Aussie mate must have seen the steam leaving my now crimson colored face, when he taps me on the shoulder and says, "Hey mate, they serve cold beer right over there".
I contemplate the desire to satisfy my thirst as I wait in the next tortuous line. The problem is, access to one cold beer comes at not only an increased price but also, yes, you guessed it, another line.
As I stand and wait (seats are taken up) for my number to come up I see zombie like people pick up their items as they are "delivered" through the double warehouse themed doors. This time they've assigned me a unique number to watch for on a big screen. Maybe this is so I don't leave feeling non-unique.
The pain infliction persists like rheumatoid arthritis.

Once all of the loot has been paid for I now get to escort two separate wheeled carts down a level to the parking area where I get to.........yup, you guessed it, wait in another fine line. This is in an effort to obtain a taxi van to cargo my items home. Once it was our turn in the taxi que, the van driver shouts and points. He assists me in loading all of our depreciating assets into the back of the van. He then says, "Woman up front, you in back". So I hopped in the back for a long bumpy ride home in stop and go traffic with no seatbelt sitting on top of something plywood-like with my butt bouncing around on it like a ping pong ball.
Once arriving home shaken and beyond words, it is my duty to make sure all of our goods get unloaded and taken up a flight of stairs from the basement parking. I take out some aggression by seeing how much I can carry up a flight of stairs. Once at the top, there's an odd feeling of destruction that makes me want to send the packed IKEA box bounding down the stairs hitting every corner on the way but I quell my desire to do so.
Finally the purchased packages have found their final pre-assembly destinations.
Now it's time to put spend a few hours putting it all together. Lucky me. Check out the videos below to see how I did it.
I consider myself a good sport and can generally endure most things. However, this experience put my good hearted nature to the test. In reflection I ask why would anyone....ever....ever.....go to IKEA!

Follow along with me in my IKEA "HUTTON" Bottle Rack Assembly DIY Instructional Tutorial Video. These racks are nice for wine, vinegar, beer, etc. The HUTTON model from IKEA is really easy to assemble and you can stack them one on top of each other as high as you want. All you need is a cordless drill or screwdriver with the correct size Allen head (hex head) bit. I believe the kit comes with a little metal Allen wrench if you don't have one. This is a simple one person assembly. I recommend you get a nice flat surface to work from whether that be your kitchen table, work bench, or even sitting on the floor.
Here's the link to it: https://amzn.to/32aLnOD

How to Replace the Ink Cartridges on a Canon Pixma MG5370

Open the top of the printer. Then pull the front panel out. Then lift up on the portion containing the glass surface. Underneath is the printer cartridges. Slide it to the center for easier access. Simply pop each one out and swap one for one. Very easy.
