DIY Easy Security Ink Tag Removal Process-Quick Detachment Method. Extra care must be taken with regards to safety when using this method as the clothing item could easy get wrapped around the grinder and you could lose a finger or a hand. This method is not recommended for the Ink capsule style tags as the ink will spray everywhere if it gets ground into by the pedestal grinder. All proper safety precautions must be observed when using this method. Better yet, I recommend you do not use this method as it's highly dangerous. I chose to use this method as I live far away from the mall and didn't want to make a trip all the way back there to have to bother with the holiday driving, parking, crowds, waiting in line a the store, just to get this tag removed so for me it was easier to do it myself. This actually worked really well and didn't cause any damage to myself or the piece of clothing that I bought. I just ground the whole thing off a little bit at a time and it only took a few minutes.

DIY How to Install DEFIANT Brand Bright Outdoor Motion Detector LED Lights

These DEFIANT brand motion security lights are incredibly easy to install. They were around $50 each at Home Depot. They really made this install very simple and they are soooo bright that it hurts your eyes to look at them. I was very pleased with the ease of installation as well as results and functionality of them serving their purpose well. Be sure to turn off the power to the circuit before working on any of this. A voltage tester is always a good thing to have around. Reminder to check the batteries and on/off function of your voltage tester before using. After you get your old outdoor light off the wall and unwired, you'll need to also remove the threaded piece of flat bar/sheet metal bracket as the new LED motion sensor light has it's own unique piece with an inset threaded center oriface that needs to be installed. The same original two screws can typically be used if need be. If the old ones are worn than be sure to replace them. A lot of times they make these screws stainless steel whereas a lot of times in the past they were galvanized. Even though they are galvanized they still get corroded and sometimes very bad.

Once you get the bracket and back plastic holder plate installed be sure the wiring is run through hole. Now the next step is the one that I really like. There's only one screw for the ground wire but then there's some set screws for the black and white wires. This video shows you how to install DEFIANT Brand LED Outdoor Motion Detector lights purchased at Home Depot. This is the easiest installation I've ever done due to the easy configuration of these lights. I am not getting any kickbacks from plugging these lights but come on.....so easy to install. I wish they would have made the handle on it a little fatter and the screwdriver a little longer as it's almost too tiny to handle. Regardless, the back plate has two set screws that secure the wires. Secure the wires and tighten the set screws and give the wires a tug to make sure they are secure. If the wires are loose this can be catastrophic due to an electrical fire to be sure you are mindful and focused on what you are doing.
Once the wires are secure and screwed in, now it's time to snap on and screw in the front main body section of the fixture.

Wali electric brand dummy security cameras ordered off of amazon. This step by step tutorial takes you through unboxing and simple installation. These dummy security cameras look real and can assist you in your home security plan acting as a deterrent for potential thieves. These professional looking dummy security cameras can be installed in less than 5 minutes. Its a good idea to install them in a manner that is high enough so they are out of reach. The AA batteries that they require to make the red blinking LED keep blinking are not included with each assembly and must be purchased by you separately. You will need an electric or cordless drill to secure it to the wall as well as three screws. I used some 1.5” drywall screws. Overall these dummy cameras alone won’t necessarily deter all potential thieves however when used in conjunction with bright motion detector lights, secure windows and security doors they can be an integral part of maybe making the thieves think about picking an easier location.

How to change smoke alarm batteries-Three different styles

Three different styles of smoke alarms and how to change the batteries on them.  Smoke alarms will beep if they are getting low on batteries. If you suspect they are out or low, just replace the battery. Check them often and have more than one in a each area in case one happens not to work. It's a good idea to check these once every few months. You can test them by pressing the button on the front of the smoke alarm. If it doesn't make a loud beep when you push it, then the battery is dead or the smoke alarm is bad and should be replaced immediately. It's a good idea to have a smoke alarm in each room. There is no reason not to as they are very affordable and they are proven to save lives.

DIY Post-Vandalism Mailbox Rollcage Welding Project

Tired of replacing your mailbox due to punk ass vandals? After fabricating up this mailbox roll cage you won't have to do it anymore. I was able to use mainly scrap metal I had laying around for this project but it's very cheap if you purchase it at the metal store. Of course before fabricating and installing the roll cage you must install your new mailbox. See the video below on doing that.

The welder I used was a Lincoln PRO MIG 140 wire feed welding machine with innershield wire. I used some scrap metal from an old planter hold I had laying around. I used the new mail box to construct the roll cage around it it to form it as I went.
