DIY Pallet Planter Easy Raised Garden Bed Project From Repurposed Pallet...

DIY Pallet Project: Easy Raised Garden Bed From Repurposed Pallets [Pallet Raised Bed]. The first thing I did was secure my building supplies by harvesting a pallet. I heavily relied on my chopsaw for this project. I then created two identical (same size} frames from the pallet slats. Once they were done, I stood them uprights so they were positioned parallel to each other. I then ran pallet slats vertically from one frame to the other until I had all four sides covered. I used my craftsman 18Gauage brad nailer extensively for this project as well. Once the sides were complete I trimmed out the top with basically another frame with 45 degree cuts in the corners of the pieces. I then used pre-stain (let dry for 30 minutes or so) and then walnut stained it. Easy and FREE!! Ready to plant some stuff in there now.

DIY Wood Pallet Entry Way Sturdy Sitting Bench From Old Crate Pallet FRE...

Pallet project bench made from a discarded pallet into an upcycled and repurposed useful bench for an entry way (shoe tying bench),  porch bench or even as part of the general furniture population. The request for this came out of the need for a spot to sit down and take off your shoes when you come in the door or put on your shoes before leaving. These custom (every one is almost guaranteed to be different) are a blast to make and the supplies are as free as free gets.

DIY Vintage Looking Coat Rack Repurposed From Old Bed Rails [DIY COAT RACK]

This DIY Vintage Looking Coat Rack Repurposed From Old Bed Rails [DIY COAT RACK] can also easily be done using repurposed pallet wood. I couldn't see tossing perfectly good pieces of thick wood away and had a request for a long coat rack. The timing was perfect. I took the old varnish off the bed rails with a dewalt brand 4" flapper disc and it worked like a charm. Once all the old varnish was removed I cut 45 degree matching bevels in the adjacent ends of the pieces of wood so they would fit together. I then pre-stained the fresh pieces of wood and let dry for about 45 minutes. I then stained them with walnut stain. Once the walnut stain was dry I measured the length of the coat rack and spaced the hangers out accordingly. I used my stud finder to find some the studs to screw into then screwed it to the wall. The customer was very happy with the results. This was a fun little unique project. I always get satisfaction from making stuff out of material that may have otherwise been thrown away.

Assembling and Using New RYOBI 10" Circular Table Saw with Folding Stand...

Unboxing, Assembling and Using this new RYOBI 10 Table Saw with Folding Stand. DIY "How-to" Tutorial Demonstration on power tool purchased from Lowe's.Unboxing, Assembling and Using this new RYOBI 10 Table Saw with Folding Stand. DIY "How-to" Tutorial Demonstration on power tool purchased from Lowe's. Needed a new one of these for my many DIY projects. Got tired of trying to rip boards with my handsaw. This is 100 times better.

Step by step picture gallery with detailed explanations of the assembly of the new saw starting with the unboxing at my website: https://www.diy-technician.com/post/assembling-and-using-new-ryobi-10-circular-table-saw-with-folding-stand-ryobi-table-saw

I actually stopped by harbor freight to see what they had there and also what there prices were. All they had left in the the store was a single table saw and it was some off brand I'd never heard of before  and they wanted too much for what it was (more than what I paid for this saw). So I bumped over to Lowe's, saw this (no pun intended) and bought it. It's working out really well so far and I've used it a ton. I will say, I've tried to see how thick of a piece of wood I can cut with a 10" blade and it will not fully cut through a 4 X 4 treated piece of fence post. It gets close but won't cut all the way though the depth of it in the fully raised position so I'd say you are limited to a thickness of less than 4" but probably not too much over 3 1/4" roughly.

The saw comes with a blade guard that will keep your board from kicking back. It's made of plastic and can seem to be a hinderance when sawing some things but it's actually a nice safety mechanism for this saw. To get started I pulled the parts all out and played them out. There are two sides to the stand that are slightly different from each other. One is made to be the front of the saw. It goes together very nice. The saw comes with a hard plastic board pusher which I use all the time and well as a miter and spanner wrenches for blade change out.

DIY Old Garage Light Fixture Replacement with NEW LED Low Consumption [...

I recommend you hire a certified electrician to do this for you. I  made this video to show you how I did it LED light fixtures save greatly on your power bill as they are highly more efficient. Well worth the money spent to change them out. Not only do they use less power but they are brighter too!!! Old lights can be challenging to take out because you never know what is going to be on the other side or what the wiring configuration is until you take the fixture down and see what goes to where. In this case I there were three wires coming from the new LED light (green, white and black) which is standard for the most part, however, on the house....there was copper (same as green ground), white, black, AND red. Red is for the on/off switch in this case. So Black and Red are the "HOT" wires.

DIY How to Reuse and Recycle Free Nails Pulled from Pallets [FREE PALLET...

Free pallet nails for free pallet projects are a blast. What makes this so good? To me there is satisfaction that comes from making something out of something that would have otherwise gone to the landfill or get wasted. Pallets are a hoot. Also the pallet cut-offs from projects are great for use in wood stoves and especially for backyard bonfires. It takes a little elbow grease to get some of them out and some are easier than others. A good claw hammer works as a nice tool for removing them but many times a nice crow bar or pry bar works the best and can also provide the most leverage. I like to use a combination of the two when harvesting pallets and nails from pallets. Some nails you pull from pallets are actually really nice and stout and just perfect for reuse and repurposing. The upcycling or repurposing of pallet nails takes a little extra time but when you get a decent collection of them and can make a project using those hard earned nails you pulled out, it really makes it that much better. Many times it will add to that popular rustic decorative look that many folks are after. DIY Pallet Project Doorbell Pallet Cover | Cover Exposed Ugly Wires [Fre...

Doorbell cover made from pallet wood covers up exposed doorbell fixture. Made for free! This was definitely a simple custom job that required some special DIY work. The wires are low voltage but just to be safe I lined the inside of the pallet box with flame retardant cement hearty backer. Once the box was fit up I pulled it back down I glued the hearty backer to the inside of the box then screwed a soda pop can tab to the top of the lightweight box in order for it to hook around the top of the fixture. Although not shown in the video, the box got painted the same color as the wall for blending in purposes. Tacoma Washington Warehouse Fire 3113 South Pine Street Building Collaps...

Tacoma Washington Warehouse Fire 3113 South Pine Street Building goes up in flames then Collapses [Large Blaze] near Goodwill Outlet Store. This was crazy. You could feel the heat from across the street. The brave Tacoma firefighters were amazing. They kept it from burning the power lines, nearby cars, and nearby buildings. The Tacoma police did a great job of getting the area blocked off. Was very unique to get a front row seat watching this. The sound of the building collapsing was eerie. Thankfully nobody appeared to be inside or injured.

DIY How to Change an Air Filter Yourself [Don't get ripped off by Quick ...

Air filter changeout is probably the easiest thing you can replace on a vehicle. Even if you don't change your own oil, don't get ripped off by these oil change places telling you that you need a new air filter. They overcharge you and most of the time you really don't need it to be changed out. All you need to do is stop by Wal-Mart or an auto parts store like Auto Zone etc. and grab a new air filter for the year, make and model of your vehicle. This is something you could do anywhere like even in the parking lot of the place you purchased it if you want. I will usually pick one up to have on hand when I'm purchasing my oil and oil filters. DIY How to Clean out a Pellet Stove and Re-Load Pellets [Harman Pellet S...

Harman Pellet Stove Cleaning Process and Pellet Loading instructions [Harman Pellet Stove]. I really love this pellet stove. I've always burned wood for heat in my woodstove but have grown to love this pellet stove. There are some special cleaning tasks that need to be performed to keep it healthy and functioning properly. Along with cleaning out the ash with a shop vac I like to keep the front glass clean as well for maximum visibility of the pellet stove's flame. For cleaning the glass we found that a magic eraser worked really well for getting the bulk of the tightly adherent soot that likes to stick around the glass. We also will use a vinegar solution for a finer shine and cleaning as well. I'm finding that this pellet stove is not as much mess as dealing with wood kindling and logs. The pellets come in plastic bags for easy storage. We keep a decorative trashcan next to the pellet stove to store pellets and use an old paint bucket with a handle on it for a pellet scooper to dump them into the top of the stove. The stove has a blower built into it that helps circulate the heat nicely. Schlage Doorknob Door Handle and Deadbolt installation on Metal Gate Hou...

A unique feature of this doorknob compared to many Kwikwet (and other) doorknobs I've installed is that it can remain unlocked from the inside while being locked on the outside. In my opinion this has it's advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it is easy to install and use. You can turn it from the inside but the outside portion is locked. This leads me to the disadvantage....you can easily lock yourself out if you are used to doorknobs that can't be turned from the inside due to being locked...If you are going out without your doorknob keys, it's really easy to lock yourself out! =). I installed this set up in conjunction with a Gatehouse Brand Gibralter Model Metal Security Door. See the step by step installation tutorial in my "Schlage Doorknob Door Handle and Deadbolt installation on Metal Gate House Security Door" video. DIY How to Install a GateHouse Gibralter Model Metal Security Exterior D...

The installation performed during my "DIY How to Install a GateHouse Gibralter Model Metal Security Exterior Door | 36" X 80" # 386847" video was performed on the front exterior door of a house. I've installed many of these over the years and all of them have stood the test of time. This was a worry of mine after putting installing the first one in fear that they wouldn't hold up to years of slamming as well as keeping bugs out. If installed correctly they will last decades. Most regular door knobs and deadbolts can be installed on these. Be sure to take into consideration any interferences that the door knobs you are choosing to use don't interfere with the existing door knobs. One nice option, if you need to use it, is that these doors can be installed in either direction. Just flip it over so it opens the other way. These can be purchased at Lowe's for around $150. I used a cordless drill to sink in the lag bolts that come with the door. You can use a regular electric drill to drive the lag bolts however, you may run the risk of snapping them off if you over tighten. I like to set my cordless drill so it will "give" so as not to over tighten and snap off the head. Along with lag bolts, it also comes with a special bit to drive them in. After taking measurements and determining what door to purchase: Step 1: Unbox and pull out lag bolts and insertion drill bit Step 2: Shim under door to raise to desired height and level Step 3. Install hinge side of door Step 4. Install opposite side of hinged door square stock and the top Step 5. Install door knob and deadbolt If you want to go with another brand, here is a more expensive heavier duty metal security door from amazon: Prime-Line Products 3853BK3068-WF Flagstaff Steel Security Door, 36" x 80", Black: https://amzn.to/35S2sBq DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Drill / Driver Kit, Compact, 1/2-Inch (DCD771C2): https://amzn.to/39OSFx8 https://www.diy-technician.com https://the-avant-garden.blogspot.com https://www.patreon.com/DIYTechnician

Hoyt Easton Compound Bow Dry Fire Disastrous Results | Don't Do THIS!!!

Explanation of what a dry fire and and what happens in my "Hoyt Easton Compound Bow Dry Fire Disastrous Results | Don't Do THIS!!!" video. The limbs and string are toast and not suitable for another draw at all. Bow should be immediately repaired. Extreme physical harm has come from dry firing a bow from just the first time but the odds of getting seriously injured go way up if you even fire a bow that has been dry fired before. If dry fitting occurs, do not attempt to pull the string back again and get the bow immediately inspected by a professional at a bow/outdoor shop. Even if you don't see the damage, it could be minimal enough not to be detected with the naked eye but could still cause injury after being dry fired. DIY How to Install a Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker and Water Dispense...

Start to finish instructions here in my "DIY How to Install a Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker and Water Dispenser | Step by Step Tutorial". This is a very easy installation if you are able to hook into you existing dishwasher water supply line/valve. All you need is a three way valve that has a shut off with a 3/8" connection for the dishwasher and then a 1/4" connection for your ice maker. This operation is best done using two people to determine drill locations and running your ice maker line. Step 1. Measure approximate distance from water supply valve to refrigerator (this determines the length of steel braided water line that you need to purchase. ( I used a 20' length...always buy a little longer than what you may think you'll need). Step 2: Get (buy)three way coupling from plumbing supply store or Lowe's/Home Depot (they are fairly cheap). Step 3. Buy Ice Maker Steel braided 1/4" water line from plumbing supply store Step 4. Turn off Water at main supply valve to house Step 6. Drain existing water from inlet main water line after turning off main valve to house by cracking any sink valve in the house. (Make sure you are not running anything such as a washer or dishwasher during this time). Step 7. Disconnect dishwasher from valve (usually a 3/8") with an open ended wrench or crescent (open ended adjustable) wrench. Have dry towels at the ready as there will be residual water. Step 8. Install new three way coupling Step 9. Hook up dishwasher line to 3/8" connection on three way coupling Step 10. Determine drill sites in floor behind refrigerator and under kitchen sink Step 11. Drill holes using slightly larger drill bit than the size of hose connection nut Step 12. Connect ice maker line to coupling under kitchen sink Step 13. Run braided steel line under house up through hole behind refrigerator Step 14. Connect other end of hose to refrigerator connection Step 15. Once tight, turn main water to house back on (best to have partner monitor connections for leaks). Step 16. Silicone around holes that were drilled to keep rodents out etc. Step 17. Pour water and wait a couple hours for ice to form Step 18. Enjoy your ice maker https://www.diy-technician.com Shark Industrial 25 FT Stainless Steel Braided Ice Maker Hose with 1/4" Comp by 1/4" Comp Connection: https://amzn.to/2L8YOfv #ice #icemaker #whirlpool #Water #dispenser #howto #diY #Lowes #HomeDepot # valve #instructions #kitchen #clean #waterline #lesson #instructions

DIY Pfister Brand Karci Bathroom Sink Faucet Installation | Matte Black Finish | Part # 1158237 It's always a good idea to be sure to turn off the main water supply just in case you have any mishaps with the plumbing valves even though you will be turning them off at the hot and cold under the sink. I got lucky on this one but have had them leak in the past or even crack in some cases due to them being old and part of various remodels. Although this kit comes with an installation tool I still needed to use some extra simple tools as some of the connections were tight up close to the wall so the installation tool wasn't the most effective in tightening all of the under sink connections. Just a small open end adjustable wrench (crescent wrench) will work. Pfister Karci Matte Black 2-Handle Widespread WaterSense Bathroom Sink Faucet with Drain: https://amzn.to/38CYNbp

Mt. Oyama Day Hike | Panoramic Views | Beautiful Temples | Kanagawa, Japan | Mt. Fuji Views. This hike is very steep. The trick to beating the crowds here is to show up as early as possible. Awesome sacred temples here too. The reward at the top is well worth the climb. There is a rail car that will take you part way up and down the mountain if you wish. There were a couple of hard core in shape runners that passed us and ran to the top and down. There is a bathroom at the top and a place to sit and enjoy a meal if you wish. Part way up there is also a place to buy some food and water etc.

Tired of looking all over for the right size drill bit? Got a drawer full of drill bits just asking to be organized? I know I did. Check out my "DIY Pallet Wood Drill Bit Holder for Organizing your Stray Drill Bits | Free to Make" Video. All you do is just grab a scrap piece of wood or pallet wood and drill into it with the actual drill bit you are wanting to store in there. Then you flip it around and slid the drill bit in there. If you want to get fancy you could even write the size of the drill bit next to in or in front of it.

DIY Skillcraft Pen Gun

I have made these ever since I was a kid and thought I'd do a fun video on it. This is made with exclusively the part from the pen itself with no additions. Do be careful because this is one that COULD put out your eye or someone else's.

Step 1: Take the pen apart
Step 2: Remove the little white projectile from the pen depressor assembly
Step 3: Remove the spring from the ink pen
Step 4: Reinstall rear pen depressor
Step 5. Insert spring into future pen gun (rear pen assembly)
Step 6. Install projectile onto spring that's been inserted into rear pen assembly
Step 7: Take ink pen (ramrod) and push projectile into chamber

You are now locked and loaded. Wear eye protection. Don't aim this at anyone. Don't shoot it at anyone.

Japan's Amazing Mt. Takatori-Yama and the Temple of Jimmu-Ji | Great Day Hike in Kanagawa Prefecture. This is just outside Yokosuka's city limits. It's about a 35 minute bike ride from blue street in Yokosuka.

This awesome spot is great if you are into rock climbing. There are tons of holds in the rocks for climbing these amazing completely vertical rock faces. The view from the top of each of them is well worth the work put in to get up there. Even if you are not a rock climber just hiking this whole area is majestical. I will he back. If you are going to do it in the summer, bring lots of water. The Jimmu-Ji temple is really cool. You can get a close up glimpse of real Japanese craftsmanship by visiting here.

I rode my bike here and hiked for a few hours and was in awe at everything. It's a nice peaceful nature break from the busyness down in the city.

This is a ten cup watering pitcher that filters water where you'll always have cleaner, pure tasting water on hand with this space saving filter pitcher in your fridge. The included, free water quality meter lets you test your water, so you never have to wonder about its quality. Once that meter gets to 006 it's time to change out the filter.

The company claims is a 5 stage water filtration system (cannister) and supposedly unlike many water filters & pitchers, Zero Water filters use 5 stages of filtration, to bring you cleaner, better tasting water. Instead of carbon filtering only. Not sure exactly what this means but they claim that their filters use Ion exchange technology to reduce contaminants.

The company's verbiage claims that the Zero Water brand filters filter water in 5 stages, are NSF certified to reduce lead and other heavy metals. Zero Water removes 99. 6% of total dissolved solids, 2x more than the leading brand (tested by independent lab). Not sure how much of this I believe but I guess I have to take their word for it.

This company boasts that their filters help in getting the lead out of your water. ZeroWater filters are the only pour-through filters NSF Certified to remove chromium & lead. Their pitchers, tumblers, & dispensers remove virtually all solids for the purest tasting water.

Zero water claims that you can get more out of your water by removing more impurities from your water with Zero Water unique, 5 stage filter system. with a variety of options (if you buy different models), you can have cleaner water anywhere, from pitchers, bottle filtration systems, or portable on-the-go cup filters.

DIY Wood Floor Repair Project | Cheap Quick Fix | Wood Filler Putty and ...

The wood just inside this sliding glass window has taken a beating from sunlight and moisture. It really needs to be replaced. So much so that it is starting to show signs of rot and is giving way at some of the edges. Rather than try to refinish it or replace it right now, this wood putty fix was just what was needed for a cheap and quick repair job. If I was the owner I would not have it get as far damaged as it did and would have refinished it. It's possible it's still salvageable but definitely needs to be resealed to prevent further damage. For this band-aid type of quick fix I just used some wood filler putty, both light and dark and tried to come close on a color match but was unsuccessful so I used a furniture touch up marker to bend it in so the repair didn't stick out as much.

Whats Inside? Fujitsu Brand Lifebook Laptop | Complete Teardown Take-Apa...

Join me on this take-apart. At first, I attempted to take this apart in a surgical fashion. I was successful for the most part but ran into a few roadblocks and busted some plastics in the process but not for a lack of trying. If I had to take another one of these apart, I'd watch this video and see that there are some strategically placed hidden Phillips head screws. I learned a lot from this teardown. There were some salvageable parts discovered as I tore this down. I was really surprised how thin a laptop computer "monitor" or screen is. Modern technology is amazing...AND this sucker is considered outdated!! wow. Either way, I'm sure it's like most modern products (from China), not built to last. I have yet to own a computer as good as an Apple. Anyway this was fun to take apart and check out the guts even if I have no idea what the hell they do.

This will save you a couple hundred bucks though. In the case presented in this video I was able to unclog this bathroom sink just using a pair of cheap hemostats. I do agree that the premium magnetic wrist rest provides full palm support and comfortable, ergonomic feel without a doubt.

DIY Self Closing Door Hinge Installation and Operation Instructional Tut...

No need to try to shut the door behind you while you have your arms full anymore. Watch this DIY Self Closing Door Hinge Installation and Operation Instructional Tutorial and put one in yourself. It's easy. I'll post a link to some below. Simply remove the middle existing hinge on the door (leaving the upper and lower one in place) and install the self closing door hinge in it's place. It's easiest if you use a cordless drill for the hinge fasteners but not mandatory. You could do this with a regular handheld manual screwdriver. You will need the correct size Allen (hex head) wrench for the internal set screw to set the tension on the hinge. Some of the hinges will come with the correct size Allen wrench to use. You tighten the Allen screw inside the hinge to set the tension of the hinge on desired self-closing strength. You can always adjust it later if you find you don't like your settings.

How to Unclog a Kitchen Sink Drain in Singapore | No P-trap Under Sink

The Singapore under sink plumbing set up is different than what I've seen in the states for the most part. This set up is pretty nice in many ways but also seems to clog up more frequently than most of the standard US p-traps I'm used to dealing with. This is really nice in the sense that when it does clog up you just put your water catch basin under the sink and unscrew the receptacle, dump it out, and screw it back on. Really a great set up if you ask me. The problem I saw was that it leaked no matter how tight I tightened it by hand once it was full of food waste debris.

DIY How to Create a Swedish Fire Torch | Outdoor Long Burning Log Round

In my DIY How to Create a Swedish Fire Torch | Outdoor Long Burning Log Round" video I show you how to quickly and easily make a fire log project. I'm reposting this video after having found it in my archives. I had deleted it from an earlier youtube endeavor a few years back. The idea of a Swedish torch itself was not mine, however, after watching some videos on it back in the day I figured I'd make my own version using my trusty Stihl chainsaw. These are a lot of fun to make and burn for a solid couple of hours + depending on what kind of wood you are burning. This was just a round of fir but I could only imagine how much burning time you would get out of a round of a hardwood like oak or even madrone (I call them madrona).  You can use a chainsaw but you could also use a bucksaw or handsaw to make one. You could do this camping or if you are able to, in your back yard.

DIY How to Put on Your Socks Without Bending Over | Simple Homemade Sock...

Have you had hip or back surgery? Maybe you just can't bend over for whatever reason. This DIY Homemade Sock Installation Device is a cheap and easy way to put on your own socks without having to bend over. It's really simple and can be made with some PVC pipe and two pieces of rope. For tools I used a hacksaw, and handheld grinder, and a file. This is really nice if you have fused vertabra, lower back injury, disability, hip surgery, etc and cannot physically bend over to put your socks on and can be done from the sitting upright position with ease. I made this one in particular for a friend of mine who had hip surgery and he thanked me greatly saying it saved him from having someone else having to put his socks on for him. This is a great gift for someone in need of such a device and can be made for super cheap.

DIY Home Brew | Northern Brewer Bavarian Hefeweizen | Full Brewing, Bott...

Ordered my Northern Brewer Bavarian Hefeweizen home brew kit from amazon. I'll post the link below This turned out really nice and was super easy to make. The kit comes with a nice set of directions. I used my Cooper's DIY Beer fermenter once the boiling and cooling processes were done.

The steps are super simple simple:

1. In your brewpot, bring 2.5 gallons filtered water to a boil

2. Add half of the wheat malt syrup (approx. half of 6lb. container)

3. Remove from heat and stir it in

4. You now have wort. Bring it to a boil again

5. Add the 1oz of German Tettnang hops and boil for 60 minutes

6. Add the remainder of the 3lbs of wheat malt syrup and add the 1lb of dry malt extract

7. Cool the wort.

8. Once cool, (siphon) add wort to fermenter leaving sludge at bottom

9. Fill remainder of fermenter (to 5 gallon mark) with water

10. Pitch yeast and add to wort once temp is 78F or lower (not warm to touch)

11. Let sit in fermenter for 2 weeks then bottle using priming sugar or carbonation drops

12. Let sit in bottle for 3-4 weeks.

13. Refrigerate for 1 day and then enjoy.

DIY How to Sweep out Your Chimney-DIY Woodstove Stovepipe Creosote Build...

Check out my video on How to Sweep out Your Chimney-DIY tutorial-Instructional "how to" style video with detailed step by step procedural instructions for maximum effective results in cleaning out your chimney. Performing this once a year (minimum) will prevent creosote build up.The first thing I did was grab a chimney sweeping brush. Each section can be assembled and disassembled easily which allows for you to sweep the entire length of your chimney. I recommend you use some kind of fall protection device (fall gear) before attempting to climb on your roof and sweep out your chimney. My roof has pitch that is friendly to where if I did slip and fall I wouldn't go over the edge. Next I popped the top cap off the stove pipe by slowly working it off. I took that and cleaned it out really well too. Then I inserted the first sections of the chimney sweeping brush down into the bore and worked it back and forth removing any creosote along the way. Started adding lengths of each section and repeated this process until I bottomed out. if you have a horoscope camera it would prove to be extremely helpful in doing the inspection of the inner bore of the stove pipe as you could identify any weak or wearing spots within the bore that you can't see from the top or bottom. Do as much of a visual inspection as you can while you are performing this. Pretty simple job but can be dangerous if you don't take the proper safety precautions. This is a great summertime job to do. This is the logical time to do it as the roof is less likely to be slippery and you are mostly done making fires for a couple months.

Scrap Metal Welding Art Project: Wild West Cowboy

Check out my Scrap Metal Welding Art Project: Wild West Cowboy. The boots were made from old shoe savers and the legs of course from a large horseshoe. The body came from some old wrought iron fence pickets from a fence I helped a neighbor up the street tear down in exchange for the metal and a sweet gate (which I refurbished and sold). The spurs were made from car gears. The cowboy hat I made from an old shoe saver as well. The guns were little mini railroad spikes someone gave me. The rope and lasso I made from old chainsaw chain by welding each link together.

DIY Easy SecurityTag Removal Process-Quick Detachment Method

DIY Easy Security Ink Tag Removal Process-Quick Detachment Method. Extra care must be taken with regards to safety when using this method as the clothing item could easy get wrapped around the grinder and you could lose a finger or a hand. This method is not recommended for the Ink capsule style tags as the ink will spray everywhere if it gets ground into by the pedestal grinder. All proper safety precautions must be observed when using this method. Better yet, I recommend you do not use this method as it's highly dangerous. I chose to use this method as I live far away from the mall and didn't want to make a trip all the way back there to have to bother with the holiday driving, parking, crowds, waiting in line a the store, just to get this tag removed so for me it was easier to do it myself. This actually worked really well and didn't cause any damage to myself or the piece of clothing that I bought. I just ground the whole thing off a little bit at a time and it only took a few minutes.

DIY Lockdown Fix-it Project | How to Fix Schwinn Brand Bike Basket | Bel...

My Schwinn Brand Bicycle front mounted basket has gotten a ton of use and has had the weight limit put to the test many times. It's been a good basket, hauled many things, survived and accident, been left in the rain and left in the glaring sun. It got abused so much so that it rusted a little and broke.
I couldn't see tossing it out over some normal aging, so it seemed like a good idea just to repair it. I used some Belzona, which is a two part epoxy to patch it up. I gave it overnight to dry and then painted it the next day.
