IKEA "HUTTON" Bottle Rack Assembly DIY Instructional Tutorial

Follow along with me in my IKEA "HUTTON" Bottle Rack Assembly DIY Instructional Tutorial Video. These racks are nice for wine, vinegar, beer, etc. The HUTTON model from IKEA is really easy to assemble and you can stack them one on top of each other as high as you want.

All you need is a  cordless drill or screwdriver with the correct size Allen head (hex head) bit. I believe the kit comes with a little metal Allen wrench if you don't have one. This is a simple one person assembly. I recommend you get a nice flat surface to work from whether that be your kitchen table, work bench, or even sitting on the floor.

Khmer Mansion Residence in Siem Reap Cambodia

Our week long stay at Khmer Mansion Residence in Siem Reap Cambodia was an amazing experience. They really went the extra mile with absolutely everything. When we arrived at the airport and got out VISA on arrival, we were greeted by  Chovey's friendly face just outside the terminal in the pick up area. She was holding up a Khmer mansion sign with our name printed on it. She patiently waited longer while we got our SIM cards for our phones. The driver then loaded up our suitcases. During the brief trip from the airport to the hotel Chovey  gave us a run down on what to do locally as well as some historical facts. Once we arrived we were given some tasty drinks to sip as well as refreshing cold towels while we went over a few things and our luggage was taken to our room. After paperwork was signed and reviewed we were shown to our room. The elevator had an uplifting scent of lemongrass. Upon entry into our room we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had our names spelled out on the beds with carefully placed lettering made from reeds. The room was very spacious and the refrigerator stocked with water and other beverages.  The balcony overlooking the pool and small courtyard area was relaxing as well. We had coffee out there every morning. We were also able to take morning walks around the city and over to pub street every morning from mansion. Here's pub street: https://youtu.be/FGVR34lh7YM.

There were also tuk tuks (don't know if I spelled that right) readily available across the street to take us anywhere we wanted to go around Siem Reap. Breakfast was complimentary every morning. The kitchen/diner folks were amazingly gracious with customer service like no other. Breakfast started at 6 and then went to 10:-00 which was very nice because this gave you the choice of either sleeping in or eating when you return from an early morning walk. It was very nice because there was a breakfast buffet with a nice variety and also a full menu from which to order from. The menu was wonderful and I don't think there is a bad item on there. They would seat us every day, take our orders, make us nice latte's, and prepare the food quickly. The dinner here was amazing as well. We were served a complimentary 4 course dinner one night. I ordered room service dinner a couple times as well. They made a very good loke lock. I'm sure I'm spelling that one wrong as well but it was my favorite Cambodian dish. We were able to take one of the best tours we've ever taken. It was an all day tour riding motorcycles across the countryside. We were also able to have scooters delivered right to the hotel on two separate occasions. These were great to ride around and see the city as well. Our overall experience here was outstanding. I highly recommend this place if you ever visit Siem Reap.

Angkor Wat Temple Tour in Cambodia

Out of all of the Asian countries I've visited, Cambodia is my favorite. The people are super friendly, incredibly hard working, and polite. Lovely culture and country. Although these temples are breathtaking incredible historical works of engineering, craftsmanship, art, and religion, Cambodia is much more than this. We were lucky enough to have a large group of monks walk past while we were visiting Angkor wat. The tuk tuk experience is one to be had as well. The tuk tuks are basically just people haulers hooked to motorbikes. Some are better quality than others. The do drive on the right side of the road!  I'm told that the best time to visit Angkor Wat is during wet season as well as during a weekday. This is exactly what we did. They told us wet or rainy season was August, September, October, November. We didn't have anything to compare it to but it was quite a pleasant experience with not a lot of crowds and zero waiting at all for transportation. Bring water with you during your visit as you can really do a lot of walking and it's quite hot. It's amazing this is still standing after all of these years. If you are trying to pick a country to visit in Asia don't wait any longer. Come and see Cambodia. You won't be disappointed. Here's some books if you are interested in reading more about the history of Angkor Wat and Cambodia.

Burger King Siem Reap Cambodia

This BK was cleaner than any BK I've seen in either other SE Asian Countries or the US. The price was reasonable and the food was tasty. We were hungry from traveling and site seeing all day to this really hit the spot for us. Friendly and professional workers there. They even had a parking lot attendant outside who keeps everyone's scooters and vehicles in order as well as their helmets. On one occasion I saw him covering up some scooters with piece of cardboard and turning over helmets so as they wouldn't fill up with rain. I gave him a small tip for his efforts. Great operation here.

DIY Buck Horn Mount from Pallet Wood and Bed Rails

I had to do this nice buck some justice by mounting his horns in this Instructional "how to" style video with detailed step by step procedural instructions for mounting buck horns out of pallet wood and a metal bedrail frame. The pallet I found happened to be a nice oak one. This project posed a few challenges and one of those was that the horns were in two pieces rather than one and there wasn't a heck of a lot of material to nail to the wooden back pieces. So to start I pulled the nails out of the oak pallet I had found and cut the cross members into three equally sized pieces for the mounting boards. It love the density of oak wood. It's so heavy too and really nice to work with. After getting the proper size I grabbed the scrap bed rail I had laying in the metal scrap pile and cut it to match the wood pieces. I took a power wire brush to the cute pieces and removed the paint followed by a coat of clear coat to the bed rails. I coated the wood with some clear varnish as well. Now I had to cut the horns to the proper angle in order to properly mount them to the wood. This took a few tries match it up so it looked both even and natural. I drilled a hole up through the horns then a hole I backboard as well once I got the horns in proper position. Then I hit it with a few brad nails and some epoxy. For the back I used an old pop can tab. Then I hung it up. Fun project made with all up cycled or reused materials.

DIY Chicken Egg Laying Bin Station built from Re-purposed Pallet Wood

From my scrap pile of extra pallets I need to make a DIY Chicken Egg  Laying Bin Station built  from Re-purposed Pallet Wood. My chickens are now laying eggs to they need they're own area in which to be comfortable, relax, and do some laying. I broke down a few pallets and I removed all of the nails with my pry bar and hammer. I was able to reuse a few of the nails. It's always fun to use the brad nailer so I secured everything with it. Once the nails were removed I lined up the now new raw materials (pallet slats) and then nailed down a couple end pieces to secure them all together and then one across the middle. This piece will act as the bottom. I did the same thing for the back piece. Just made an "L" shape with the wood then also nailed some side on it and then a front piece as well. The chickens were a little standoffish at first but once I put some bedding in there they took to it really nicely and played some eggs.

How Much Is a Pumpkin in Singapore?

DIY Pallet Project-Simple Wall Mounted Pallet Paint Shelf Organizer

With some simple hand tools and a free old pallet you can make an up cycled DIY Pallet Project-Simple Wall Mounted Pallet Paint Shelf Organizer in no time flat. When choosing pallets, if I have the option, I try to pick ones that have all of the slats in good shape and also I like to pick the ones that are a little heartier. It's not always an option and often times I've had to just settle with what I can get. It is never a waste though because if a pallet just went to hell when I was taking it apart, I'd just use it for firewood to generate heat. If I didn't use it in the fireplace I could use it for outdoor burning in the firepit. Pallet wood burns quick and lights up nicely prepping a good coal bed to toss some longer burning logs on. So, in making this wall mounted pallet shelf I easily cut my pallet roughly in half, using the middle cross member as my cut line so it was nice and straight. I wanted it a little smaller so I sectioned it off once again basically making a smaller rectangle out of the bigger one. This left me with a section of pallet containing four cross members. I then took my hammer and pryer and carefully removed every other wooden slat. I used one of those wooden slats as bottom piece for this shelf. I even removed as many nails as I could and straightened the salvageable ones for reuse. No use in tossing out a perfectly good nail. I then took my cordless drill and a few drywall screws and mounted this sucker to the outside of my shed. After I mounted it I cut some bottom pieces for the leftover scraps for the bottom portion of the upper shelf on this fixture. This worked out perfectly for my storage needs.

How to make a Vertical Pallet Garden-Simply Done Pallet gardening Project

How to make a Vertical Pallet Garden-Simply Done Pallet gardening Project-Instructional "how to" style video with detailed step by step procedural instructions for making a vertical pallet garden for almost free. An old trampoline mat was used at the backing for this but you can use landscaping plastic sheeting, felt, garbage bags, or whatever else you can think of just to sort of hold the soil in from the back. I tried to use all recycled materials that I had laying around as part of the fun. After cutting to size I nailed the trampoline mat with some roofing nails I had left over. I had quite a few roofing nails that needed to be put to good use so I was liberal with their use on the backside of my newly constructed free vertical pallet garden. In this example I planted some strawberries that I had already started. They took off great and made for a nice crop. This project worked really well and is recommended if you have space restrictions you are concerned about. This would also work really well for flowers or an herb garden.

DIY Pallet Planter Box-Raised Beds for Gardening

I found myself with quite the collection of pallets just begging to be used for a project. I planned on a garden the year I made some raised beds. Once I knocked all of the nails out of the pallet boards I tried to reuse as many of the nails as I could. Some of them required a little bit of straightening. Be careful when cutting pallets on a table saw for the inherent risks that accompany using this saw but also because many times there are nails buried inside the wood that you don't readily see from the outside. I've hit a few nails with the table saw and you know it when you hit one. This project was relatively simple, just created the bottom square then nailed some vertical side pieces in. After that I just went around and nailed all of the boards to the vertical side pieces. Once I had it flush with the top I cut some boards for the trim at 45 degree angles in the corners for a specific look. I decided not to paint them but as an idea you could paint them the same color as your house, shed, or barn. In this project I had some extra boards so I created a bottom for this but really there is no need if you don't plan on moving them. They are super heavy when they are full of dirt anyway. Not only that but once you start watering whatever plants go in there the boards are going to start rotting. I had some triangular pieces left from one of the pallet disassemblies so they were a perfect fit for the bottom corners. You can't go wrong using pallets to make your planter boxes.

DIY Pallet Project: Shop Table From Pallets-Repurposed Wood Made Into Us...

In this DIY Pallet Project: Shop Table From Pallets "How to" video, I take you step by step through my process on using old pallet wood to create a shop table. For the Table top, the first step was to get all my slats separated, get the nails pulled out, and clean them all up. I cut them all to the same length and placed them on two longer aluminum clamps. Pipe clamps work well here too. Once I get them square, flat, and straight, then I took two perpendicular lengths of wood and drilled and screwed them up through the bottom to hold it all in place. I then drilled and screwed 4 equal legs on. I then cut a couple of blocks for extra reinforcement, drilled, and screwed those on as well in between the legs and the cross members on the underside of the pallet table surface. I custom made the metal angle iron brackets as well. I had some old metal bed rails laying around so I sectioned them up and drilled holes in them to facilitate screws and used them for reinforcing brackets. I used some repurposed lag bolts to secure these. I sanded the top surface of the table so it was nice and smooth and flat. I decided that I needed a shelf down below for extra storage so I hit up my pallet pile again. I pulled off some more slats carefully so as not to crack or break the boards in the process. I got the nails all pulled out and cut to length on the table saw. I used some of these for the trim around the top of the table so it had a nice finish. I then created the second shelf down below using more pieces from the pallet pile and nailed them together with a brad nailer.

DIY Pallet Shoe Rack Organizer

This video provides Step by step instructions on how I made a DIY Pallet Shoe Rack that lasted for years for FREE!

After hand selecting which pallet I wanted to use I gathered up the necessary few tools I thought I would need. I didn't want the shoe rack to be too high so I but the pallet right in half with my hand saw. I also needed it to be limited to a certain width based on where I wanted to install it so I cut 1/3 of it off, widthwise with a skilsaw. Although I switched to a power tool here, you could do it all with a handsaw.

I then took my crowbar and hammer and removed the lower board. This gives me a top row for shoes and then a bottom row as well. I blew it all down with my air compressor to remove the saw dust.I then secured it to the wall with a couple of screws. Quick, easy, and free shoe rack organizer. You can paint it or have one of you kids paint it too for for an added custom touch.

DIY Kwikset Door Handle and Dead Bolt Installation

In this "How To" DIY Kwikset Door Handle and Dead Bolt Installation, I take you step by step through the installation process after I replaced my front house door to an upgraded model.

This was a first of it's kind for me as the handle was a little bit different style than what I'd done before. It'd still turned out though.

The first thing you'll want to do is remove all your parts from the package then lay them out on a table or the floor next to your door.

Take the door knob insert and test fit it into it's hole in the door and make sure you know which way it's supposed to face depending on which way the door swings and closes. In this demo I did a test run on how the handle mechanism operates outside of the door prior to installing just so I understood and could see what was going on with the thing. I put the insert and the large handle portion in the door loosely. The smaller handle portion needs some assembly.

Now loosely assemble the rest of the parts in the door as shown. Tighten the smaller door handle first via the Allen head set screw. Now go ahead and tighten everything down.

DIY How to Fix a Gas Stove Burner That's Not Working-Simple Fix Using Ju...

If all of your other gas burners are working but one isn't,  it's likely that you have a cleanliness issue in the bottom gas inlet beneath the burner's metal parts on the stovetop itself. It's a very simple fix once you know how to do it. This is a common problem with gas stove burners. If you have a small paperclip handy, this will work just fine. Better yet, if you have a set of torch tip cleaners, even better. If you don't have any, you should buy some. I've provided the link below for a set of these and they are perfect to keep around for when this happens to you. They are so cheap there's no excuse for not owning some, especially when it means not being able to cook.

Before working on this or any other gas system make sure you turn off the gas, even for a little fix like this because you will be somewhat up close and personal to where the gas exits into the "bowl" portion of the burner located beneath the special metal parts. After turning off the gas you can now start removing the components that make up the burner portion. Most of them just kind of sit on top of each other. Once you have removed all the burner parts and set them off to the side you can now take your cleaner from your set of tip cleaners or your small paperclip and ream out the gas oriface in the center at the bottom. Be sure to get a tip cleaner or paper clip that fits just snug as you don't want to force it in there or wind up breaking it off while a portion of it is stuck inside the oriface (then it will never work). Now reassemble the metal parts that make up the burner. Turn the gas back on and light the burner. If it doesn't work at first try the process one more time. If it still doesn't work after that you likely have another issue that is causing the problem and call a professional.

Summary of this DIY fix is as follows:

Step one: Shut off gas

Step two: Take it apart

Step three: Obtain small paperclip

Step four: Clean out bottom gas oriface with paper clip

Step five: Re-assemble burner parts

Step six: Turn gas back on

Step seven: Light burner

DIY Homemade Fishing Gummy Luers-Melt and Mold Kit by FusionX

Demonstration on how to make your own homemade fishing gummy worms right in your kitchen. This kit was made by fusionX fishing lures. The plastic stuff is called plastisol which is a thermoplastic resin used for making soft plastic fishing lures. It can be remelted and poured numerous times with no negative impacts to material properties. It has a melting point of between 320 degrees F and 350 degrees F. It's quite prone and sensitive to overheating and will scorch causing it to turn brownish and then be deemed unusable. Remember these completed lures on not edible. Upon heating the plastisol will begin to turn clear and gel, and then become thin similar to the consistency of syrup. IF the liquid plastisol is not heated to a hot enough temperature and past the gel stage it will stay soft and gummy will not setup properly. Be sure to follow all of the safety precautions such as gloves, safety glasses, apron, long pants, long sleeve shirt, fave shield protective shoes etc.

The plastisol can be melted over a stove however this can quickly lead to overheating.

Molds should be kept dry and clean. You can clean the molds with warm water and mild detergent if needed.

Whats Inside Portable Battery Jump Starter Compressor (4 in 1)-CENTECH B...

This CENTECH brand portable battery jump starter never did work. It was given to me by a friend who said he wasn't sure if it worked or not. Well, it did not work so I figured I tear it down, take it apart and see what this thing is made of to see what's inside. There really weren't any valuable recyclable materials in here to speak of. I'm sure if you really really took some time. and removed the insulation from some of the wiring or melted some other pieces down you could possible get some redeeming value out of it. There was a small battery inside this unit that could possibly be of some value. It's interesting when you take some of these things apart how much they can fit into one small unit. Very impressive except for the fact that it didn't hold up over time. Regardless, I figured I'd somewhat repurpose this thing before I threw it away by using it as a learning tool for disassembly. One thing I have a habit of saving is some of the fasteners such as the small screws as well as some its and bolts. These have come in handy over the years.

In this DIY How to Change Flush Mount Household Overhead Light Bulbs-Quick and Easy Tutorial I demonstrate the procedure for making this happen. This is a beginner "For Dummies" style video, however, I can say that there are many of us who have changed a million light bulbs before who have never done ones like this. This is why I felt somewhat compelled to make a DIY "How to" style video showing this simple light bulb replacement for two different styles of flush mounted light bulbs. Only one of which has a glass cover with metal clips holding it in place in the overhead. What a difference it makes to have some nice bright light back into these bathrooms.

DIY Overhead Ceiling Electrical Light Fixture Removal

The first step in this DIY Overhead Ceiling Electrical Light fixture Removal Jon s to turn off the power. You'll want to do this first so you don't shock yourself. The next step is to unscrew the glass fixture cover by unthreading the center holding nut that holds the glass cover in place. Be careful as sometimes this could cause the glass to come down on you or drop on the floor depending on who installed it. Then unscrew the lightbulb. At this point you can unthread the center piece if need be, not required though.

The next step is to get your cordless drill and unscrew or loosed the two screws hold this into place. These are attached to the light fixture electrical box itself. Now give the fixture a little twist and it should come loose. If it's been up there a long time, expect some insulation, dust, and debris to come out so try not to get this on your face or into your eyes. Before touching any wire, I recommend doing a second check to make sure there is no current going through the wires. I always take three precautions when doing this kind of work. I shut the power off at the breaker, shut the power off at the switch, then finally use my voltage tester to make sure I don't get shocked. Once you've confirmed no current flowing through the wires you are about to touch, go ahead and untapped and unthread the existing house wire to remove this old fixture.

Welding Project: Metal Art Wiener dog

I had some extra horseshoes, some chain, and some extra scrap metal from an old trampoline that got thrown in the fire. The old trampoline frame was made out of hollow tube which I cleaned up and pounded the ends down to resemble the back. Before tack welding any of the parts together I cleaned them up down to clean metal. I had on old framing hammer head laying around and some washers for eyes so I welded them together too. I had some brown spray paint laying around so I hit the newly made metal art sculpture dog with a couple coats of it. This was a fun project and was able to give it to my nice neighbors at the time as a gift. They had a dog of similar size and stature.

What’s Inside? Phillips Brand CD Player AM/FM Radio-Take Apart

Found this old non-working Phillips Brand Compact Disc Player AM/FM Radio and decided to make a video showing what's inside it. They are relatively simple when you tear into them. I just used. small Phillips screwdriver for the most part. This CD player was electric but battery powered as well. This was mostly compiled of circuit boards on the inside held together by small Phillips head screws. The speakers were pulled out, the antenna screwed off, all the wiring could mostly be unplugged from the curcuit board. There wasn't a heck of a lot that could be salvaged from this but it was fun to take apart and see how hard the disassemble would be as well as seeing exactly what's inside.

DIY Electrical Kitchen Range Hood Removal

Get rid of that old outdated oven range hood. See the steps on how to do it by watching my DIY Electrical Kitchen Range Hood Removal tutorial. The old oven range hood was a Nutone brand oven range hood. It really needed to be upgraded. Removing the old one and installing the new one was a lot easier than I would have thought. This style is not vented. Meaning, there is no sheet metal ducting going to the outside of the house. This style of range hood just blows it back into the kitchen. Some models have filters on them.

The first step is to shut the power off at the breaker. Ensure the power is off with a good voltage tester as well. Here is a link to a video I made on a good voltage tester used for this purpose: https://youtu.be/F1eoiFjvAO4. After you've verified that the power is off to the range hood, it's time to unscrew the lightbulb that in there and bust out your cordless drill to unscrew the electrical box screw to expose wiring. Couldn't hurt to verify again that the power is off just before touching any wires. Disconnect any the wires coming from the main power. Now unscrew the securing screws from the bottom of the overhead cabinets. Take note of the wiring and colors of wires. Most of them will be white to white, black to black, and then the ground. Now it's time to install the new one.

The trick to getting all four corners inserted is to get three corners in first leaving one slightly out, then the fourth and final corner will barely slip in. In this example I put the right two corners in first because they had the metal spring tabs on them, followed by the upper left corner, then finally the bottom left corner.

Hotpoint Brand Oven Light Bulb Installation

DIY "How to" Hotpoint Brand Oven Light Bulb Installation Tutorial Instructional Demonstration. If you know how to do this then its very easy, but for those of us who don't, well...it can take a minute or two to figure out. If you watch this video, I will show you exactly how to replace the bulb in your Hotpoint Brand Oven. Many people just leave the light bulb in the burned out state for the life of the oven. I couldn't imagine not being able to see what's cooking or what it's looking like.
Many people, like myself are procrastinators. "Well the oven light is out" is what you may tell yourself. It's tough to get in there and get after it as it's one of those things that you can make do without. That being said, it's much nicer to have a working oven light than not. So if you can find the gumption to change out the light bulb, pop open the oven door and get after it. The first thing you want to do is take the securing wire and push or pull it off to the side. This is your first access point to getting this done. Be careful not to drop the glass that goes over it as you do. You can do this all with one hand no problem. So what you want to do is move the wire over while keeping some pressure on the glass and once the wire is pushed over, than sort of captivate and capture the glass. This will allow you to gain access to the light bulb. You will need a headlamp or flashlight for this job. Now take the existing light bulb and unscrew it. Now take your new one and screw it in.
Anyway, hope this little quick video helps you out. Good luck!

How to Unclog a Bathroom Sink and How to Remove Sink Drain Stopper

n this video I discuss and demonstrate a method of unclogging your backed up bathroom sink. I start with the least invasive and try to unclog the bathroom sink by using a pair of hemostats to fish out any debris around the drain as this is sometimes the only fix you need to do. This was not the case in this instance of this plugged up drain. The sink stopper needed to come out. This means the up and down mechanism must me disassembled. This is done by going underneath the sink and unthreading the fitting that secures the up and down joint. Once unthreaded it can be pulled out. Now there is a hole in the pipe so if you run your water anymore it will run out the hole all over the place. Now you can remove the stopper from up above. In this instance there was some debris down inside the drain that needed to fished out. After removing all the debris that was reachable I reassembled the parts. The sink was still not unclogged though so I had to disassemble again. I decided to give it the water pressure treatment with the garden hose as I've had many successes in the past using this same method. Once I flushed whatever was plugging it down the drain with the hose pressure, I reassembled all the parts. What you want is a whirlpool or eddy look of the water as it goes down the drain. If it bubbles or gurgles a bit then it means something is impeding the water flow and it's still plugged.

DIY How to Install DEFIANT Brand Bright Outdoor Motion Detector LED Lights

Amazon link: https://amzn.to/2LIfadC

These DEFIANT brand motion security lights are incredibly easy to install. They were around $50 each at Home Depot. They really made this install very simple and they are soooo bright that it hurts your eyes to look at them. I was very pleased with the ease of installation as well as results and functionality of them serving their purpose well. Be sure to turn off the power to the circuit before working on any of this. A voltage tester is always a good thing to have around. Reminder to check the batteries and on/off function of your voltage tester before using. After you get your old outdoor light off the wall and unwired, you'll need to also remove the threaded piece of flat bar/sheet metal bracket as the new LED motion sensor light has it's own unique piece with an inset threaded center oriface that needs to be installed. The same original two screws can typically be used if need be. If the old ones are worn than be sure to replace them. A lot of times they make these screws stainless steel whereas a lot of times in the past they were galvanized. Even though they are galvanized they still get corroded and sometimes very bad.

Once you get the bracket and back plastic holder plate installed be sure the wiring is run through hole. Now the next step is the one that I really like. There's only one screw for the ground wire but then there's some set screws for the black and white wires. The kit comes with a little red flathead screwdriver..........check out https://the-avant-garden.blogspot.com for the rest of the details.

It also allows me to make a tiny amount of money with both Adsense and Amazon. The tiny Amazon profits come from you clicking through my link provided (such as this one: https://amzn.to/2JZqIqW) and then either ordering the item or ordering another item after clicking the amazon link.

I know the experts recommend staying in a certain niche, and I'd say I do that for the most part, however, I don't like to put self imposed limits on what I post. It stays more interesting for me this way. I take great pleasure in fixing things as well as trying new foods, helping others,  and visiting new places. I really appreciate and enjoy the education that youtube has to offer. It's still amazing to me how you can learn how to do almost anything with just a few clicks and some watch time. Almost all of the videos I post are not just for the purposes of posting videos, they are documentation of activities and fixes I was going to do regardless. So I figured that since I'm performing these tasks anyway, might as well have fun making some videos and maybe make a nickel or two.

This video shows you how to install DEFIANT Brand LED Outdoor Motion Detector lights purchased at Home Depot. This is the easiest installation I've ever done due to the easy configuration of these lights. I am not getting any kickbacks from plugging these lights but come on.....so easy to install. Main thing is to turn off your power so you don't shock the shit out of yourself. The rest is damn easy once you watch my how to for dummies video. I appreciate all your views and welcome any positive comments.

GMC Sierra DIY Drive Shaft Removal Procedure

GMC Sierra DIY Drive Shaft Removal Procedure. This whole video was made due to my truck being stuck in gear. Tried everything to get it unstuck but nothing worked. Had to get it out of the way so it was necessary to remove the drive shaft and pull it out of the way.
If this happens to you or you need to disconnect your drive shaft for other reasons, then this video is for you. It's actually very easy and can be done with simple hand tools.

The first thing I did was jack up the track and place jack stands under it so I didn't get crushed.

Secondly, I disconnected it at the rear differential joint. This was easily removed by loosening the 4 bolts shown using a 7/16" socket.
Before completely removing them I made sure to tie up the drive shaft so it didn't smack me in the face. I used a flathead screwdriver to pop off the little clips around the universal joint and the retaining rings. Once these are removed the drive shaft comes right out.

Pretty simple. I did end up buying a new universal joint as the old one was a little rusty. It was fairly inexpensive at auto zone.

DIY Truck Tailgate Theft Prevention Trick (Hack)

Installation of a couple hose clamps can make the difference between keeping your tailgate or losing it to theft. These clamps remove it from the easy target list and maybe make the dirtbags move onto another truck. This demo was performed on a Silverado tailgate which works for GMC Sierra as well. I wish they would have made the handle on it a little fatter and the screwdriver a little longer as it's almost too tiny to handle. Regardless, the back plate has two set screws that secure the wires. Secure the wires and tighten the set screws and give the wires a tug to make sure they are secure. If the wires are loose this can be catastrophic due to an electrical fire to be sure you are mindful and focused on what you are doing.
Once the wires are secure and screwed in, now it's time to snap on and screw in the front main body section of the fixture.

DIY Install & Unbox Dummy Home Security Camera -Wali Electric Brand

Wali electric brand dummy security cameras ordered off of amazon. This step by step tutorial takes you through unboxing and simple installation. These dummy security cameras look real and can assist you in your home security plan acting as a deterrent for potential thieves. These professional looking dummy security cameras can be installed in less than 5 minutes. Its a good idea to install them in a manner that is high enough so they are out of reach. The AA batteries that they require to make the red blinking LED keep blinking are not included with each assembly and must be purchased by you separately. You will need an electric or cordless drill to secure it to the wall as well as three screws. I used some 1.5” drywall screws. Overall these dummy cameras alone won’t necessarily deter all potential thieves however when used in conjunction with bright motion detector lights, secure windows and security doors they can be an integral part of maybe making the thieves think about picking an easier location.

Deco Gear "Chef" Rapid Electric Portable Stainless Party Ice Maker- Unbo...

This great little portable Electric "Chef" Deco Gear Brand Party Ice Maker has been amazingly easy to unbox and set up. The video shows how easy it is to unbox this unit and quickly make some ice. To get right down to it, it has been one of the easiest appliances to "assemble" and use that I've ever purchased. It does everything it said it would and actually efficiently and quickly makes ice. It always makes us, as consumers, happy when the contraption you buy does exactly what it says without fail or disappointment.
We use quite a bit of ice around our house for our drinks and our smoothies.
As far as simplicity and ease of use, I would recommend this electric ice maker to anyone who is in the market for one. I will update this description and post down the road to follow up how it stands the test of time. If it breaks tomorrow I'll update this at the beginning of the description. So if you are reading this and there is nothing saying differently at the very beginning of this description, than it has been running full time and still going.
One of the nice functions of this thing is that as the ice slightly melts after being made it slowly drips back down into the reservoir which makes it so all of your ice doesn't stick together. You always have the small or larger piece of ice that this machine makes.
In the video I demonstrate what the assembly guide recommends, and that's making sure that the reservoir plug on the bottom is plugged in. I really didn't need to tighten it up anymore as it was already tight. I guess there's a chance that is came loose during shipping, however, you'll know it right away it it's loose because you may get a little water out the bottom
